Prerequisites
Minimum Age: Participants must be at least 15 years old. There’s also a PADI Basic Freediver course available for those aged 12-14.
Swimming Ability: You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim at least 200 meters (656 feet) without stopping, or 300 meters (984 feet) with mask, fins, and snorkel.
Physical Health: Good physical health is necessary. A medical questionnaire must be completed before beginning the course.

Typical Duration: The PADI Freediver course can typically be completed in 2-3 days, depending on your schedule and learning pace.

No prior diving experience is necessary. The PADI Freediver course is open to anyone interested in learning the basics of freediving.

During the open water sessions, you’ll aim to reach a depth of 10-16 meters (30-55 feet) using the skills you’ve learned.

Our instructors will work with you to gradually increase your breath-holding capacity, using relaxation and breathing techniques to build your confidence. Practice really does make better (we are never perfect)!

We provide all the necessary freediving gear, including masks, fins, snorkels, wetsuits, and weight belts. However, you’re welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer.
